India’s exports reach US$ 60.29 Billion in May 2023
India’s overall exports in May 2023 have surged to US$ 60.29 billion, indicating a positive growth trend. Electronic goods exports witnessed a significant increase of 73.96% in May 2023 and a cumulative growth of 48.06% during April-May 2023 compared to the corresponding period last year. Agricultural exports also registered robust growth.
Among these particularly the export of rice and spices has been grown by 19% and 31.81% respectively during April-May 2023 in comparison to April-May 2022. Additionally, oil meals exports grew by 74.33% during the same period. Ceramic products and glassware showed an impressive growth rate of 17.36% in May 2023 and a cumulative growth of 17.29% during April-May 2023 over the corresponding period last year.
