NEW DELHI — The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has inaugurated its compelling pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025. The event is being held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. The AAI exhibit directly reflects the IITF theme: “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat” (One India, Great India). AAI confirms its commitment to technological advancement and sustainable air connectivity. This showcase highlights AAI’s dynamic vision for India’s air travel future, and India’s rapidly expanding aviation capabilities and national growth story.
AAI at IITF 2025: Immersive Experience
The AAI pavilion, located in Hall 1G, greets visitors with futuristic design. A striking LED archway illuminates the entry. This visual spectacle uses futuristic aviation visuals to set the stage. Inside, two anamorphic display walls showcase AAI’s vast and expanding airport network. These walls present modernisation initiatives and infrastructure development. The entire exhibit successfully merges digital innovation with sharp design. Visitors immediately grasp the scale of India’s aviation growth.

Interactive Zones Drive Public Engagement
AAI developed several engaging interactive zones. These areas encourage public participation. Interactive touch kiosks highlight key strategic initiatives. The kiosks detail the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS)- UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik). They also showcase AAI’s Startup Policy.
Visitors can explore India’s current Air Connectivity Map. They can even preview the upcoming AAI–Routes Asia 2025 event. Furthermore, a unique digital flipbook presents airports as architectural landmarks. This feature promotes the unique cultural heritage of each respective region.
Safety and Technology: The ATC Demonstration
A major crowd-puller is the Live Air Traffic Control (ATC) Demonstration. This display gives visitors a crucial inside view. They witness real-time communication and control processes. These processes ensure safe and efficient air traffic movement across India’s skies. The demonstration clearly underscores the AAI’s pivotal role. AAI manages India’s complex air navigation, surveillance, and traffic management systems. Consequently, this transparency builds public confidence in aviation safety.

Training Tomorrow’s Professionals
The AAI pavilion also focuses on future workforce development. An AI-powered Selfie Zone allows attendees to virtually transform themselves. Visitors can become pilots, air traffic controllers, or aircraft maintenance personnel. This fun, interactive element drives interest in aviation careers.
A dedicated Briefing Zone offers informative sessions. Students and media representatives receive valuable information here. They learn about AAI’s operations, programmes, and long-term vision for the sector.

AAI at IITF 2025: Aligning with the National Vision
AAI’s participation at IITF 2025, running until November 27, is highly strategic. It reflects the organisation’s dedication to integrating innovation, technology, and sustainability. AAI emphasises its continuous efforts to build and modernise airports. They strengthen regional connectivity and enhance crucial navigation systems. Therefore, these initiatives are directly aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. Aviation plays an essential and central role in empowering both regional economies and national growth.
