Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Introduces Alliance Air’s ‘Fare Se Fursat’ Fixed Airfare Scheme
Scheme Aims to Make Air Travel Affordable, Transparent, and Stress-Free for Passengers Across India
New Delhi, October 13, 2025 – Union Minister of Civil Aviation Shri Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu inaugurated the ‘Fare Se Fursat’ scheme today.
The initiative was introduced by government-owned regional carrier Alliance Air to simplify airfare for passengers.
Under the scheme, Alliance Air will charge a single, fixed fare that remains constant regardless of booking date or travel day.
The pilot phase of the scheme will run from October 13 to December 31, 2025, covering select domestic routes.
Secretary, Civil Aviation, Shri Samir Kumar Sinha, Alliance Air Chairman Shri Amit Kumar, and CEO Shri Rajarshi Sen attended the launch.
Speaking at the event, the Minister said the scheme supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of democratizing aviation.
“Fare Se Fursat aligns with the UDAN scheme, making flying affordable for middle-class, lower-middle-class, and neo-middle-class citizens,” he added.
The static fare system eliminates stress from fluctuating airfares and ensures cost predictability for passengers, including last-minute travelers.
Shri Vaishnaw highlighted the government’s focus on passenger-centric aviation, citing Udan Yatri Cafes offering affordable refreshments at airports.
He emphasized that Alliance Air is the backbone of the UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme, connecting Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities nationwide.
The initiative also promotes transparent and stable pricing, reducing frustration caused by dynamic ticket rates in Indian aviation.
Fare Se Fursat is expected to encourage first-time flyers from smaller towns to travel by air.
Alliance Air’s efforts strengthen the vision of ‘Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik’, making air travel accessible to every Indian.
The scheme demonstrates Alliance Air’s commitment to public service, ensuring affordability and convenience while expanding regional connectivity.
