PM Modi Launches BSNL’s ‘Swadeshi’ 4G Network
India has achieved a major milestone in digital sovereignty with the launch of BSNL’s ‘Swadeshi’ 4G network. Prime Minister Modi commissioned over 97,500 towers, making India one of only five nations with its own end-to-end telecom technology stack. This cloud-based, 5G-ready infrastructure will connect over 26,700 unserved villages and form the nation’s largest cluster of green telecom sites.
