Cabinet Approves Rs. 8,307 Crore Bhubaneswar Ring Road to Ease Congestion and Boost Odisha’s Economy
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has greenlit a new 110.875 km, 6-lane ring road around Bhubaneswar. The Rs. 8,307.74 crore project, built on a greenfield alignment, aims to alleviate severe traffic congestion and improve logistics connectivity across eastern India. It is expected to create a significant number of direct and indirect employment opportunities, boosting the regional economy.
