APEDA virtual trade fair witnessed more than 404 visitors

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) organised its first ever virtual trade fair to boost potential of exports in India’s agriculture as well as processed food products segments. The expo encompassing 313 exhibitors witnessed more than 404 visitors across 128 stalls displaying products categories like Basmati and Non Basmati rice, Wheat, Millets, Maize, Coarse grains and Groundnut among others. The visitors across Brazil, UAE, India, France and New Zealand thronged the expo virtually

The theme fair with the theme ‘India Rice and Agro Commodity’ was focused on showcasing the potential of exports of these agriculture commodities.

The virtual stalls at the expo had on display product catalogues, list of products and short videoes explaining their companies.

Buyers from around the globe from the countries including Philippines, Egypt, Brazil, UAE, Sudan,, Qatar, Myanmar, Fiji, UK, Saudi Arabia and Peru among others had registered for the virtual expo.

The virtual expo was organised by APEDA with the aim of exploring new markets and expanding exports of Indian agriculture as well as processed food products.

Seperate virtual meeting between importers and exporters we’re also arranged at this expo.
