PM Modi Hails Udan Scheme’s Game-Changing Impact on Indian Aviation

In a response to a tweet by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Modi lauded the game-changing impact of Udan, which has connected 473 routes and 74 operational airports, heliports, and water aerodromes across India.
He further highlighted that the last nine years have been transformative for India’s aviation sector. He emphasized that existing airports have been modernized, new airports have been built at a quick pace, and a record number of people are now flying. The enhanced connectivity has given a significant impetus to commerce and tourism, driving growth in the country.
