All Woman Biking Adventure kicked off by Madhya Pradesh Tourism

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has organised an all-woman 6-day bike trip, covering a distance of 1,500 KM. A total of 15 women riders from different parts of the country participate in this journey called “Tigress on the Trail” that started from Bhopal on the 19th of November 2020.
Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Managing Director, MP Tourism Board and Principal Secretary, Tourism, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh said the initiative was aimed at inspiring women as well as solo travelers to explore different facets of the country. Starting from Bhopal the journey coverd Kanha National Park, Satpura National Park as well as Bandhavgarh National Park and offered glimpse into the natural diversity that Madhya Pradesh offers. Moreover, the riders also got the opportunity to indulge in a wide range of adventurous activities like jeep, boat and night safaris at different parks.
Sonia Meena, Additional Managing Director, MP Tourism Board said that the tourism board has been taking necessary steps to safeguard the women and solo travelers while encouraging them to visit different places in the state. The women riders also got a chance to interact with villagers and an opportunity to witness delightful folk performances, besides visit to ancient temples during the course of their journey.
Abhishek Daga, Co-Founder, Thrillophilia added, “At every step, Madhya Pradesh offers a memorable experience to the travelers while they visit National Parks, historical sights as well as the modern developments and the tribal communities.”
The trip will included a visit to Paradhi and Pachdhar Pottery Village, the location where native communities of potters reside. The travelers also got a chance to interact with tribal women. Besides, they got a chance to enjoy Paradhi Walk that’s a revolution in itself. The journey ended at Khajuraho Temple which is a UNESCO Heritage site.
