Govt set to launch digital platforms for healthcare and education

In a webinar on Digital Bharat 2020: Digital-The New Normal, organised by FICCI together with Ministry of Electronics and IT and MyGov held recently, the topics including the growth of digital payments, digital awareness, and e-learning were discussed. The webinar also focussed on how the government of India leveraged technology as a socio-economic tool for development amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Deliberating in this web conference, Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Govt of India informed that the government is all set to launch national digital platforms in various sectors including healthcare and education, among others. Speaking on the occasion, Virat Bhatia, Chairman, FICCI ICT and Digital Economy Committee said that Digital India has empowered the nation to leverage technology for digital transformation.
