India achieves increase in exports in the first Quarter of 2022-23
The merchandise exports from the country have registered 16.8% rise in June 2022, reaching up to USD 37.9 billion which is the highest ever exports. While the value of non-petroleum exports during the month reached 30.12 USD billion, non-petroleum exports amounted to USD 28.54 billion in June 2022.
Non-petroleum and non-gems and jewellery exports have also grown to USD 26.75 billion in in June 2022. The exports of petroleum products, electronic goods and RMG of all textiles registered a high increase of 98.01%, 50.66% and 44.67% respectively in June 2022.
