NCRPB makes its Geo-Portal ‘PARIMAN’ accessible for public

A Geo-Portal ‘PARIMAN’ that was developed by National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) a couple of years back initially for the use of the states participating in NCR, has now been made open for the use of public. The Geo-Portal aimed at helping in improved management and decentralised planning of NCR, can be accessed through the websites: https://ncrpb.nic.in/  and https://ncrpbgis.nic.in/.

Moreover, the portal developed through National Informatics Centre (NIC) will help in effective utilisation of GIS technology and remote sensing. It has around 179 layers having lines, points and polygons that cover various details like land use, water, industries, transport, health, power, shelter, disaster management, heritage & tourism, etc.

Spread over 55,083 sq. km, the NCR includes four participating states, encompassing 24 districts and the entire NCT of Delhi as its constituent area.
