Infosys reports 16.8 % Y-O-Y increase in consolidated net profit in third quarter of this fiscal

Infosys has reported a consolidated net profit at Rs 5,215 crore for the third quarter of this fiscal. It amounts to 16.8 per cent year-on-year (Y-O-Y) increase. The gross revenue for this quarter rose 12.3 per cent YOY to Rs 25927 crore. The company has raised revenue guidance band to approx. 5 per cent and the earning margin to approx. 24.5 per cent due to its continues strong performance. Another IT company Wipro has reported 20.8 per cent YOY growth in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter of this fiscal at Rs 2967 crore.
