IREDA Inaugurates Paperless Business Centre in New Delhi’s East Kidwai Nagar
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), a Mini Ratna (Category – I) enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, has established a state-of-the-art Paperless Business Centre at the NBCC Office Complex in East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi. Equipped with futuristic technology, the new office eliminates paper usage. It equally promotes efficient digital workflows.. Inaugurated by IREDA’s Chairman & Managing Director, Pradip Kumar Das, on June 24, 2023, the office represents a significant milestone in IREDA’s commitment to sustainable practices. The event was attended by R. C. Sharma, Chief Financial Officer, and other senior officials and employees of the company.
Contributing to environmental preservation, IREDA aims to reduce its carbon footprint by embracing a paperless approach and minimising waste generation. The new office in Kidwai Nagar has been thoughtfully designed to foster productivity, collaboration, and employee well-being. It offers advanced amenities such as dedicated spaces for yoga, meditation, and fitness activities, encouraging employees to prioritize their physical and mental health.
By streamlining processes, reducing paperwork, and leveraging digital platforms, IREDA aims to expedite the financing and implementation of renewable energy initiatives, thereby contributing to India’s transition to clean energy.
