MoRTH grants approval to reconstruction, rehabilitation and upgrdation of several projects pan-India

Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has approved reconstruction, rehabilitation and upgradation of a large number of projects across the country. The approved projects for different states encompassing various regions include, upgradation and rehabilitation of Jalgaon-Bhadraon-Chalisgaon-Nandgaon-Manmad Road (on NH 753 J) in Maharashtra to two lane-four lane. The approved budget for this project is Rs 252 crore.

Upgradation of a section of Guhaar-Chiplun Road on NH 166 E in Maharashtra has also been approved with a budget projection of Rs.171 crore. Other than these, the state has received approval for a series of rehabilitation and upgradation projects including upgradation of NH 353 C to 321 km from the current 262 km and the project also involves construction of 16 major and minor bridges in Gadhchiroli district with Rs 282 crore budget.

The other rehabilitation and upgradation projects approved in Maharashtra include two lanes from Watur to Charthana section of NH 752 crore (budget: Rs 282 core ); upgradation of section of Tirora-Gondia on NH 753 to two lane with a budged of Rs.282 Crore and construction 28.2 km long highway length of 28.2 km on NH 753 has been approved with a budget of Rs.288.13 Crore. The range of projects in Maharashtra also include ctruction of a flyover at Nagpur RTO Chowk to Nagpur University Campus, a 4 lane flyover at Wadi/MIDC Junction on NH 53,construction of a bridge on Manjra river located near Yesgi village in Nanded district on NH 63 with a budget of Rs.188.69 Crore.

In Rajasthan, the MoRTH has approved Land acquisition for upgradation and rehabilitation of Ras – Beawar section of NH-158. In Odisha as well, the MoRTh has approved rehabilitation of projects with budget allocation of Rs. 38.282 Crore. In Odisha, construction of a bypass on NH-59 has been approved with budget of Rs 196.95 crore, besides the construction of a Bypass on NH-59 for Berhampur town including 4L ROB on EPC mode in the state of Odisha has been approved with a budge sanction oft Rs. 196.94 Crore.

In Andhra Pradesh, the major projects include upgradation and rehabilitation and upgradation of existing road to 2 Lane, among others. Upgradation and rehabilitations of NH-565 from Nagarjun Sagar Dam to to Davulapally section to 2 Lane and in Assam widening to 4 lane of the road from Sagunbashi forest to the starting of Krishnai Bypass section of Bilasipura – Guwahati (NH-17) road apart from widening of Parokhuwa – Dokmoka section at NH-29 and widening of Tulungia – Jogighopa bridge approach on Bilasipura – Guwahati road (NH-17), among others.
