Navi Mumbai International Airport to introduce water taxi services

The upcoming Navi Mumbai international airport will be the first to introduce water taxi services, as announced by Devendra Fadnavis, the chief minister of Maharashtra.
Tadanvis emphasized in a meeting the importance of the state-run planning authority, CIDCO during a meeting with the state-run planning authority. He said it is important for establishing seamless transport access to the airport.

He stressed that water transportation is available to connect the airport within the specified time frame.

The chief minister further directed that a comprehensive multi-modal transport system be established at the airport starting from the metro station will ensure hassle-free travel for commuters. “work being undertaken by

Fadnavis stressed on the importance of setting a specific time limit for these projects. Cidco should make a concerted effort to provide affordable housing options to its residents, he added.
