PM launches scheme to provide seamless power supply to farmers in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Kisan Suryodaya Yojana, a scheme to provide 16-hour seamless power supply to farmers in Gujarat. He also inaugurated a paediatric heart hospital in Ahmedabad. The hospital is connected with the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research. He also inaugurated a mobile application for tele-cardiology in Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. Apart from all these, the PM inaugurated another key project, a roapeway at Girnar through which a distance of over 2.3 km will be covered in only 7.5 minutes and through this the spectators will be provided a scenic view of Ginar mountain.

With the inauguration of Paediatric Heart Hospital, the UN Mehta Institute will emerge as the country’s biggest hospital for cardiology and research. This expansion will entail the investment of Rs 470 crore and the institute will achieve the distinction of becoming the country’s biggest single super speciality cardiac hospital and teaching institute while it will become one of the largest single super speciality cardiac hospitals in the world.
