India Climbs in Global Forest Area
Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav announced that India has climbed to the 9th position globally in total forest area, as per the FAO’s GFRA 2025, attributing the success to government policies and the ‘Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam’ initiative.
