Digilocker services now available on WhatsApp
Now the users can access Digilocker service on their WhatsApp through MyGov Helpdesk which offers a suite of services. The facility aims at providing integrated citizen support and it enables the citizens to access their Driving Licence, PAN card, Driving License, Vehicle Registration Certificate, CBSE Class X and XII Marksheets and their insurance policy documents among others. The WhatsApp users can simply send Hi or Digilocker on whatsapp number: +91 9013151515.
In the time of the pandemic,the MyGov Helpdesk has served as a critical instrument and through this service, the citizens have downloaded over 33 million vaccine certificates. The availability of Digilocker and the MyGov Helpdesk is aimed at building a comprehensive administration support for the citizens and it’s a step towards providing citizens simplified access to the essential services through an easy and accessible WhatsApp platform.
Currently more than 100 Million people have successfully registered on Digilocker while more than 5 Billion documents have been issued till date.
