FY18-19 GST return filing deadline extended till October 31
The government has allowed the taxpayers to file their GST annual return for FY-2018-19 till October 31 and it has urged the taxpayers to avail the benefit of the extended deadline and file their return promptly. The finance ministry has made the provision to report only the values of transactions pertaining to the concerned financial year. It has also assured of taking no adverse view in cases in which variations in returns are found for those taxpayers who have already filed their GST return for FY-2018-19.
