Indian Handicrafts glitters at Made in India trade show held in Guatemala

Indian mission in the Guatemala (Latin America) jointly with the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) organized a Made In India trade show exhibition on Indian arts and crafts and other products of Indian Handicrafts Manufacturers and Exporters at Cayala in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Exporters from different parts of India together with ten national master craft persons gathered at this two-day expo held from September 22 to 24. Raj Kumar Malhotra, Chairman, EPCH said the exhibition will enhance trade in Latin American region. Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra  who is the Ambassador of India to Guatemala added the Exhibition is an opportunity to portray diversity of India.

EPCH is a nodal agency that promotes handicrafts’ exports from India. Total Handicrafts exports from India was Rs. 33253.00 Crores during 2021-22  and it registered the growth of 29.49%  over the previous year.
