Reduction in logistics cost will be a great saving: Nitin Gadkari

Emphasizing on reduction of logistics cost from 16 % to 10%, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said reducing logistics cost will be a great saving. Speaking at length at “Climate Goals: Technological Roadmap to Net Zero”, a program organized at AIMA’s 49th National Management Convention – ‘Advantage India: Thriving in the New World Order, he said there will be a great saving by reducing logistics cost and through this over 50 per cent increase in exports can also be achieved.

Further he informed that to reduce travel time, a decision has been taken to make 27 green express. These highways will reduce travel time so much so, travel time from Delhi to Amritsar will be just 4 hours, from Delhi to Katra it will be only 6 hours and Delhi to Srinagar will take only 8 hours to be completed while the distance between Delhi to Mumbai can be completed in just 12 hours.
