Indian railways resumes partial operations from June 1

Indian Railways has resumed its partial operations from June 1 with 200 special trains initially. These trains are in addition to already plying 30 special AC trains and a few Shramik special trains. Reportedly, over 1.45 lakh passengers are expected to be travelling from today in all these trains running across the country.
Waitlisted passengers are not allowed in these trains to avoid the crowd in view of the compliance with Corona protocol. Health screening of passengers is a must and in case a passenger is found with symptoms of Corona or suffering from high fever, travelling is non-permissible.
No catering or bedding services are available in these trains and it is mandatory for all train passengers to download Aarogya Setu App in their phones.
