Naredco completes 24 years, celebrates its foundation day

National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), an autonomous self-regulatory apex national body under the aegis of Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, celebrated its foundation day. It was also an occasion to mark the 24 years of existence of NAREDCO, which was established in 1998.

Speaking on the occasion, Gautam Chatterjee, Founder and Chairman of Maha RERA said that after the pandemic, real estate sector has bounced back and that the industry should adopt new technology for projects development. He said there is a need to focus on three Ts: trust building, time adherence and transparency.

Vice Chairman of NAREDCO, Dr Niranjan Hiranandani said NAREDCO has played a key role in the implementation of various government schemes under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Praising the SWAMIH fund for last mile funding of the stressed projects, he said that more funds are required.

President of NAREDCO, Rajan Bandelkar spoke about the need to set up a roadmap for real estate sector. He advised to make real estate sector consumer focused.
