NBCC likely to deliver flats to 10000 Amrapali homebuyers by next year

Finally, there is good news for all those beleaguered homebuyers who invested in Amrapali Group’s different housing projects in NCR over a decade back but unfortunately, those projects got stalled for years. Later, the state-run National Building Construction Corporation Limited (NBCC) took over these projects to construct and deliver these to the homebuyers.

NBCC has come back with a silver lining for the homebuyers informing that it is expected that over 10,000 homebuyers in some of these projects would get delivery of their flats by June 2021. Recently, the Supreme Court also directed all the financial institutions to disburse the entire balance loan amount to the homebuyers in these projects. According to NBCC, the Supreme Court order has come as a huge relief for the homebuyers and that with the funds hence collected, some more projects are being handled. As per NBCC, the estimated cost of completion of all Amrapali projects is around Rs 8,500 crore and it has already handed over two stalled projects.Eight more such housing projects are currently being handled by the NBCC.  In all NBCC is currently handling 23 housing projects of Amrapali Developers and it has also invited tenders for 11 more projects of Amrapali. Currently, the Amrapali projects lined up for delivery by May-June 2021 are Silicon Phase-1, Saphire-1&2, Zodiac, Platinum & Titanium, and Princely Estate located across Noida and Greater Noida.
