NHAI introduces FASTag at forest entry points
An MoU has been signed between Nagarjunasagar-Srisailam Tiger Reserve and the Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to enable a FASTag-based payment system at forest entry points. The initiative aims to provide visitors with a seamless and efficient entry process, allowing them to enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife of the region without any hassles.
The EMC fee will also be collected via FASTag at various entrance points of the tiger reserve. The initiative will help promote sustainable tourism.
