More than one lakh crore rupee GST collection in January
The Goods and Services Tax revenue collection has taken a quantum leap in the month of January. It has touched the record level of 1 lakh 19 thousand 847 crore rupees.
In this collected tax, 21 thousand 923 crore rupees is CGST, while 29 thousand 14 crore rupees is SGST and 60 thousand 288 crore rupees amounts to IGST. Apart from all these, 27 thousand 424 crore rupees in this amount is collected on goods’ import.
In its regular settlement, the government has settled 19 thousand 371 crore rupees SGST and 24 thousand 531 crore rupees as CGST.
