Shivraj inaugurates mega flyover connecting Rajasthan to MP
Madhya Pradesh (MP) Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated a 1.420 km long flyover connecting Gwaliar in MP to Dholpur in Rajasthan and dedicated it to the nation amid the presence of Union ministers Faggan Singh Kulaste, Thavarchand Gehlot and Gen (Retd) VK Singh, besides local MPs and MLAs, among others.
The flyover has been completed within the stipulated period of eighteen months on EPC Mode. The flyover also has a service road on both sides. It will decongest crowded traffic, save time as well as avoid wastage of fuel.
Present on the occasion, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar complemented RTH Minister Nitin Gadkari for the completion of the project in the stipulated time frame and he thanked Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways V K Singh for pursuing it actively. Chauhan said, “Morena has received whatever it wanted from Centre.” He further outlined various development projects that have been undertaken in district and called upon the people of Morena to participate in the story of development of Morena wholeheartedly. V K Singh added that the stretch is important in view of it’s being a major connectivity in the region.
