HPCL and NTPC Green Energy join hands for green power
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has signed MoU with NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) for the Development of Renewable Energy-based Power Projects. 
The association aims to tap Business opportunities in Renewable Energy, and Green Power for HPCL Refineries. NGEL will supply 400 MW renewable power round the clock for HPCL. The MoU is the first step for HPCL and NGEL to cooperate and collaborate for the development of renewable energy projects and meet the clean energy commitments of HPCL.
The MoU was signed by Mr Neeraj Sharma, Head of Finance, NGEL and Shuvendu Gupta, Executive Director- BioFuels & Renewables, HPCL and Neeraj Sharma, Head-Finance, NGEL signed the MoU in the presence of Gurdeep Singh, CMD NTPC and D.K Sharma, Executive Director-CSP&BD, HPCL, among others.
