Indian universities among top-200 in World University Ranking 2022
Achieving a commendable feat three universities of India has accomplished top-200 position in QS World University Rankings 2022. In these rankings, IISc Bengaluru secured 186th position in universities rankings and it ranked 1st in the world for research. IIT Bombay secured 177th position in these rankings and IIT Delhi secured 185th rank in it. The world University rankings’ 18th edition has been released by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, global higher education analysts.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said “emerging as a Vishwaguru, India has taken a leap in the field of education and research.” He added that initiatives like National Education Policy – 2020 as well as the Institute of Eminence have been instrumental in ranking India’s institutes and colleges globally.
