MeitY launches air quality monitoring system developed by C-DAC and ISM Dhanbad

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched an Air Quality Monitoring System developed jointly by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Kolkata and TeXMIN, ISM, Dhanbad.

The outdoor air quality monitoring station it monitors environmental pollutants of the parameters PM 1.0, PM 2.5, PM 10.0, SO2, NO2, CO, O2, besides relative humidity and ambient temperature.

The Air Quality Monitoring System has been transferred J.M. EnviroLab Private Limited that was selected for its commercialisation. The technology transfer took place in the presence of Alkesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary and Bhuvnesh Kumar, Additional Secretary of MeitY. Also present were Debasis Mazumdar, Senior Director & Centre Head, C-DAC, Kolkata and industry partners.
