NHAI awards nine toll plaza projects of 566 Km under ToT model

National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), the autonomous agency of the Government of India, has awarded a bundle of nine toll plaza projects across UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Tamil Nadu under its Toll-Operate-Transfer (ToT) mode. Known as ToT 3 bundle project, it has been awarded to Cube Highways which has received the upfront consideration of Rs 5011 crore for the projects encompassing a total of 566 km length.  Held through a video conference the award ceremony was chaired by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways through video conferencing.

The occasion also witnessed the virtual presence of General (Retired) V.K. Singh, Minister of State for Road, Transport and Highways, besides S S Sandhu, Chairman, NHAI and the representatives of Cube Highways. Under ToT mode, it is the second award. The first award consisting of 10 toll plazas of the total length 681 km was awarded to MAIF earlier in 2018 with the upfront consideration of Rs 9681.5 crore. The NHAI is moving ahead with the process of awarding more stretches under ToT mode.
