No plans to hike passenger fares as of now, clarifies Indian Railway touting media reports as false

Indian Railways has denied claims being made by a section of media that it’s all set to increase passenger fares. It has rebuffed all such reports which state that there is a possibility of Indian Railways may hike passenger fares. According to Indian Railways all such reports are baseless and that all such reports are baseless and these reports are having no factual basis. It said there isn’t any proposal such proposal under consideration. It has urged media not to circulate such false news based on unfounded reports.
