PM unveils transformational projects valued over Rs 1,06,000 crore in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of transformative projects worth over Rs 1,06,000 crores in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The projects span various sectors, including railway infrastructure, connectivity, and petrochemicals. Among the key highlights of the event:

– Dedication of multiple key sections of the Dedicated Freight Corridor project.

– Flagging off 10 new Vande Bharat trains.

– Laying the foundation stone of the Petrochemicals complex of Petronet LNG at Dahej.

PM Modi emphasized that these developments are not just about governance but a mission for nation-building. He highlighted the importance of making Indian Railways a medium for ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Vocal for Local’. The Prime Minister also underscored the significant progress made in railway infrastructure, including the modernization of stations and the manufacturing of trains and tracks in India.

The Prime Minister noted that these projects are just the beginning of a larger vision for the country’s development and reiterated his commitment to further transforming the railway sector. He highlighted the completion of the Eastern and Western dedicated freight corridors as examples of the government’s focus on infrastructure development.

The event also saw the inauguration of various other projects, including new passenger trains, cargo terminals, and initiatives promoting local products and renewable energy. PM Modi praised the efforts of the railways in promoting tourism related to regional culture and faith.

The Prime Minister called upon citizens to continue supporting the government’s efforts towards development and assured that Indian Railways will continue to progress at the pace of modernity.
